What actually constitutes authenticity in the classroom? How can you encourage the creativity of students in language lessons? In this workshop we want to reflect on the principles and characteristics of creative and authentic teaching and use examples to show how we can design tasks and exercises for students in such a way that their creativity and motivation are encouraged. We focus on speaking and writing tasks and exercises.
Corinne Warnecke is a freelance trainer, author of textbooks and German teacher in France and previously worked for many years at the Goethe-Institut Lyon as an officer for educational cooperation. She is also a tutor for the Goethe-Institut's advanced training program Deutsch Lehrenlernen (DLL), for which she also acts as an assessor. Her focus is on methodical and didactic seminars on open forms of teaching, internal differentiation and film didactics.
