Arts & Cultural Management Masters

Practical qualification in the field of cultural management: the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Arts & Cultural Management is a new, interdisciplinary course of studies in international cultural management. It was developed by the Leuphana Professional School in cooperation with Goethe-Institut. As an English-language, job-concurrent distance learning course, it is addressed to cultural professionals all over the world.
The Masters programme Arts and Cultural Management will be presented in an online session on April 18th 2018 at 2 p.m. (CET).  In this online session you will have the opportunity to meet the team of the study programme and ask questions concerning the programme. K3 Residency 2019/2020

K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg provides three eight-month residencies to choreographers, who are currently at the beginning of their career and have produced some choreographic work of their own. The residency starts in August 2019 and runs until April 2020. It includes a monthly grant, production budget, and dramaturgical support, as well as participation in training, courses, etc. For further information about the residency programme and the required application material, look here.

Indo-European Residency Project Kolkata 2018

The Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata and the Alliance Française du Bengale, in collaboration with the Kolkata based gallery CIMA and Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan are organizing the second interdisciplinary Indo - European Residency Project Kolkata. The residency lasts seven weeks. Three artists practicing different art forms (one from Germany, France and India) will work and explore the city together, for six weeks in Kolkata and one week in Santiniketan. During their stay, the artists will meet for a productive exchange with cosmopolitan and culturally interested people, artists, NGOs and others in West Bengal. The aim of this residency is the creation of an individual or collective art project during the stay in India.

Berlinale Talents 2019

To all young, aspiring filmmakers out there: Applications for the Berlinale Talents 2019 are now open. Berlinale Talents is the festival's hub for creativity, collaboration and discovery. Every year, more than 100 experts join the Talents for talks, screenings, case-studies, workshops and project labs. During six intensive festival days in February participants have the chance to connect and get substantial input from fellow creatives of all disciplines. Dates: February 9-14, 2019

International Coproduction Fund

With a view to encouraging new collaborative working processes and innovative productions involving international cultural exchange, the Goethe-Institut set up a new coproduction fund in the summer of 2016 to promote new working networks and approaches within a global context and to explore new forms of intercultural collaboration. This funding is intended for coproductions by artists in the fields of theatre, dance, music and performance art, in which hybrid and interdisciplinary formats and the use of digital media may be key components.

The next deadline is October 15, 2018* at 23:59 (CET - Central European Time). The online application form will be available again in September 2018.
