Concert CIANO MAIMBA
Ciano Maimba is a singer-songwriter, vocalist and guitarist born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. The music of Ciano embodies human experience through melodic and lyrical poeticism. It propagates the ideals of universal equality, peace, love and understanding. Gradually becoming a household name in the Kenyan music industry, he is known for his smooth falsetto and finger style guitar technique.
This concert is part of a series of events organised in cooperation between Music In Africa and Goethe-Institut Kenya. Music In Africa is an information and exchange web portal dedicated to the African music sector. The portal responds to the need for reliable information and networking between music professionals in Africa. It also aims to contribute towards improved collaboration among artists on an international level, as well as to enhance awareness of African music scenes.
