Till Passow

Till Passow © Till Passow Till Passow, born in Munich in 1968, studied film and television directing at the Babelsberg Film University. His graduation project, 'Mast Qalandar' (The Ecstatic), was shown at 54 international film festivals and received twelve awards, including the Lola of the Kulturstaatsministerium der BRD and the Golden Gate Award of the IFF San Francisco.

His numerous short films produced as a creative producer have been shown at international festivals such as Sundance, Locarno, CPH:DOX, Palm Springs International ShortFest. They have won the Vanguard Award at the San Francisco International Festival of Short Films and the Soapbox Award at the Odense International Film Festival, among others, and have been nominated for the American Film Institute Docs Award and the International Documentary Award. In 2012, 2014, and 2017, he was a jury member of the Peace Film Award of the IFF Berlinale. Till Passow regularly gives short film workshops worldwide as a lecturer and lives in Berlin.
