Regional, fresh and organic food for 1.5 million people; smart urban living using only a fraction of the energy usually consumed; a smartphone produced on a fair basis and a self-managed tea plant, whose workforce fought more than three years to take its future into its own hands. Since the breakdown of “real socialism“, people all over the world are searching for alternatives to unbridled capitalism. Is there a model for a just society out there?
Four individuals say: Yes! They took a path away from greed and profit - and learned a lot along the way. They take us on a personal journey to the promising possibilities of solidarity. “Utopia Revisited” is a cinematic expedition to the pioneers of a new society.

Directed by: Kurt Langbein, 2018, col., 94 min.
