KinoFest 2023

Goethe-Institut is organising the second edition of the annual German film festival, KinoFest, scheduled to run throughout September to November 2023. KinoFest is a joint production involving eight Goethe-Instituts in Southeast Asia, showcasing the latest films released from 2021 to 2023.

Expanded Curatorial Practice & Exhibition Making Training

Goethe-Institut Myanmar will initiate training on expanded curatorial practice and exhibition making. The training is intended to encourage curatorial practice in the Myanmar art scene and everyone interested in curation. The main training courses will be led by Prof. Dr. Mi You from documenta Institut, followed by additional training and discussions.

The Myanmar Photo Archive and Goethe-Institut Myanmar are pleased to announce a collaboration to extend, enforce and build a wider understanding of Myanmar's visual history. The Goethe-Institut Myanmar has generously reinforced the Myanmar Photo Archive to build a richer visual archive of Myanmar's history with a special two-year grant.
