Do you love German-language literature and want to know how stories come to life? In the international online book club #Meet the Author, readers from all over Europe come together to discover the latest books and share their reading experiences.
What makes it special is that the authors are there live. They read from their books, talk about themes, writing processes and background stories — and engage directly with the audience. This sparks lively conversations that foster a sense of connection and open up new perspectives.

Every month, we showcase a selection of German-language titles from recent years: from surprising debuts and highly acclaimed bestsellers to narrative non-fiction. The events are held in German and are open to everyone — whether you’ve already read the book or are simply curious. Reading samples and interactive formats are designed to encourage you to join in the discussion.
