No motivation letter is required. Instead, applicants are asked to answer a set of application questions in the online form and upload the required supporting documents.

- What project would you develop during the residency? (max. 200 words)
Describe the project and what you hope to achieve during your stay in Ekely.
- Describe one concrete activity, encounter, site, archive, community, or question you would like to explore during the residency. (max. 200 words)
Explain why it interests you and how it connects to your artistic practice.
- Tell us about a previous work or project that represents your artistic practice. (max. 200 words)
Describe the work/project, your approach, and what you learned from it.
- Propose one public event that would allow local audiences to engage with your artistic process. (max. 150 words)
Please explain the format and intended audience.
- Is there anything else you would like us to know? (optional)
Upload the required documents:
- Current CV with links to your website or social media accounts (max. 2 pages)
- Insight into your artistic practice: images (up to six) and/or links to video/audio excerpts (max. two minutes), as well as links to relevant artistic projects.
Please test links/images whether they work and are saved in optimum format for panel viewing.
