International Silent Film Festival Manila

ISFF 2020

The International Silent Film Festival Manila (ISFF) is back for it's 14th edition this year. The festival which will take palce virtually will run from December 4 to 6 with the participation of Japan, Italy, Germany, France and the Philippines through www.iwatchmore.com.

The ISFF has been one of the most-awaited cultural events amongst the cinephiles and music lovers alike in Manila.  Indeed, it is one event that brings together film classics from different parts of the world and the talented Filipino musicians on the same stage to perform and reinterpret stories in a unique mix of cultures.

This year, the festival features 10 films to be scored by 5 musicians from different genres. Aside from that, there will be a roundtable discussion which will give light to how different nations have taken initiatives in preserving film heritage through archiving and restoration. Experts from Japan, Italy, France and Germany will exchange with their Philippine counterparts to share best practices. The webinar will take place before the start of the festival on December 04, at 4pm.
