Science Film Festival 2023

The Science Film Festival is a celebration of science: it shows international films on current topics from the fields of ecology, technology and research.

Screenings are now possible!

Screenings of the films will take place in multiple locations in the city, in the premises of partner schools, accompanied with activities focusing on the theme ‘Ecosystem Restoration’. The films will also be made available online so that audiences all over Pakistan can get the opportunity to access the films.

With entries for schoolchildren from 5 years up to university students and adults: The Science Film Festival has something for all ages with the selection for Pakistan. Institutions can now request access to the films for screenings.

The festival begins in autumn

This year, the festival received over 1,700 films from 102 countries. The film selection will be announced by the organisers on the festival's official website in September. The festival will run internationally from 1 October to 20 December 2023. Film screenings in Pakistan will be announced in our events calendar.
