Dates and Registration
German Exams
We offer German exams in compliance with social distancing rules. All exams take place at Goethe-Institut Singapore Branch, 136 Neil Road, 2nd floor:
- Entry procedure: 9:00-9:15 AM
- Start of examination: 9:30 AM
* Internal candidates must be currently enrolled in a language course at the Goethe-Institut Singapore or have been so within six months prior to the examination date.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Fees are payable in full not later than 5 working days before the examination date. At the moment. At the moment, we accept payment via bank transfer only.
Failure to make payment on or before the stipulated date will result in cancellation of your booking without further notice.
The contractually binding fee is the fee stated on the website of Goethe-Institut Singapore.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
In case of cancellation up to five working days (Mon-Fri) before the examination date the fees less an administrative fee of S$ 70 will be refunded. Hereafter no refund of examination fees can be given.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date of receipt at the Goethe-Institut Singapore.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The offered examinations are recommended for adult participants (16 years and above). Young Learners’ examinations can be arranged on request.
For the examinations, we have a capacity of 12 participants. Once an examination is fully booked, we cannot accept more participants even if the registration deadline has not expired.
GOETHE-INSTITUT LIABILITY / FORCE MAJEURE
The liability of the Goethe-Institut and its employees is limited to intent and gross negligence. The Goethe-Institut is also not liable for disruption to its services due to force majeure (e.g. natural disaster, fire, flood, war, official orders and all other circumstances beyond the control of the contract parties).
When an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of Goethe Institut such as a war, strike, riot, crime, epidemic or an event described by the legal term act of God (hurricane, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.), we are subjected to offer course adjustments (e.g. room or schedule adjustments).
