Fees are payable in full before the examination date, no later than the specified payment deadline. At the moment, we accept payment via bank transfer only.

Failure to make timely payment will result in loss of entitlement to participate in the examination without further notice.

The contractually binding fee is the fee stated on the website of Goethe-Institut Singapore.

In case of cancellation up to five working days (Mon-Fri) before the examination date the fees less an administrative fee of S$ 70 will be refunded. Hereafter no refund of examination fees can be given.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date of receipt at the Goethe-Institut Singapore.
The offered examinations are recommended for adult participants (16 years and above). Young Learners’ examinations can be arranged on request.

For the examinations, we have a capacity of 12 participants. Once an examination is fully booked, we cannot accept more participants even if the registration deadline has not expired.

The liability of the Goethe-Institut and its employees is limited to intent and gross negligence. The Goethe-Institut is also not liable for disruption to its services due to force majeure (e.g. natural disaster, fire, flood, war, official orders and all other circumstances beyond the control of the contract parties).

When an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of Goethe Institut such as a war, strike, riot, crime, epidemic or an event described by the legal term act of God (hurricane, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.), we are subjected to offer course adjustments (e.g. room or schedule adjustments).
