Film Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Mona has fled Syria with her Kurdish family and ended up in a school in Wedding, where 90% of the students are “foreigners”. And while Mona doesn’t know much German, she speaks football fluently. When a dedicated teacher Mr Che recognises her extraordinary talent and accepts her into the girls’ team, chaos erupts within the team and the whole school. But eventually, one thing becomes clear: they can only be winners if they learn to play together.
