A night of music, discussion, and entertainment with star chef Vincent Klink
Star chef Vincent Klink comes to Kansas City during the Year of German-American Friendship. After a reading at the Goethe Pop Up, he will be performing jazz live at the German restaurant Affäre accompanied by Bram Wijnands. Chef Heuser will be offering a special four-course menu based on cuisine from Vincent’s hometown of Stuttgart.
Vincent Klink is a German chef, restaurateur, author, and publisher of culinary literature. A jazz musician and media personality known for his food-focused television shows, he is a recipient of the Michelin Star and received the Order of Merit of Baden-Württemberg in 2014.

- Apprenticeship with Baden chefs and at restaurant Humplmayr in Munich.
- Has operated a restaurant with wife Elisabeth since 1974.
- Michelin Star recipient in 1978.
- Accomplished archer with an English Longbow. Professional amateur on the flute. Frequently reads from his own books. Plays music with his friends, a pianist and a guitarist, when they’re able to find free time.
- Thursday morning cooking-show: ARD lunch buffet.

Over the years he has performed with many different artists such as Deborah Brown, Bobby Watson, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Bob Kindred, Dukes Boys, The U.S. Coast Guard Band, Slide Hampton, Richard Ross, Milt Trenier, and The Scamps. Concert tours include locations such as the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Russia, Cyprus, Hungary, Romania, and the United States.
