Service for librarians

Events, specialist information and cooperation services for librarians.

Film Archive

Our collection contains over 1090 titles on digital formats (DVD and blue ray). The films can be rented for non-commercial screenings by cinematheques, film clubs, film festivals, and other cultural and educational institutions. Please note that the standard is PAL – you would need a multistandard DVD-player.  

Translation funding

Our translation funding program supports the publication of books by German authors in another language.

Student counseling

In the US, the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst - DAAD) has a branch office in New York that can answer your questions about studying in Germany.
