Kebab Connection. By Anno Saul, written by Fatih Akin et al, 2005.
Ibo, stuck between the German and the Turkish culture, is about to fulfill his lifelong dream as important news turn his life upside down and he is forced to make a decision.
Ibo, a young German Turk, lives in Hamburg and dreams of making the first German kung fu movie. To practice, he makes commercials for his uncle’s kebab restaurants. Everything seems to go pretty well, until his girlfriend Titzi gets pregnant. Ibo’s parents immediately throw him out of their house for having impregnated a German girl, and Ibo himself does not feel ready to be a father. Titzi has had enough and dumps him – and Ibo has to make up his mind for what he really wants.
