‘Silent Treatment’ presents two of our favourite homegrown artists - Vuma Levin on guitar and Sisonke Xonti on tenor sax - it's a truly special duo concert, with beautiful melodies & loops seamlessly interspersed with sublime improvisations.

Vuma's music is edgy but oh so warm, and finds new life in this stripped down format, with Sisonke’s creativity and big sound making him the perfect collaborator. As the great South African pianist Neil Gonsalves commented - mood, color and texture for days.

‘Silent Treatment’ offers you a chance to be part of a small, exclusive audience – where you are invited to engage with the artists and their work in an intimate living room atmosphere, where the usual seating arrangements make way for comfy cushions and beanbags on the floor. Make sure to book to be a part of this highly exclusive bespoke experience.

This performance launches the fourth part of the Silent Treatment installation, featuring the photographic & textual narratives from episodes 19-24 of House on the Hill’s Jazz Community Showcase Series.
