Project assistant

The Goethe-Institut in Johannesburg seeks to appoint a project assistant. This is a freelance position (15 hrs/week) up until end of October 2022. Position’s funding is subject to final donor’s approval. Deadline for this position is 10th of June 2022.

Project Manager

The Goethe-Instituts in Africa are launching a networking and self-driven learning programme for museums in Africa. For this project, which will be steered from Johannesburg, but implemented in differ-ent countries on the continent we are looking for a project manager. This is a freelance position (max 40 hrs/week) from 15 June until 31 December 2023. Position’s funding is subject to final donor’s approval. Please send your application no later than 10th of June 2022.  

Employee for petty cash management and accounting

The Goethe-Institut South Africa is looking for an employee for petty cash management and accounting as of 1 July 2022, initially limited until 30 June 2024. The application deadline for this vacancy is 19 June 2022.

Language officer in the language department

The Goethe-Institut is looking for a language officer in the language department (substitute for maternity leave). This is a full time position and requires very good German knowledge on at least level B2.
