Are you thinking of applying for the Sound Waves: Podcast Training for Audiovisual Professionals? Join us for a one-hour live info webinar where the organisers will walk you through the programme, the application process, and what makes a strong submission.
Sound Waves is a five-day, in-person podcasting lab for early to mid-career audiovisual creators from South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi, taking place in Johannesburg from 7–11 July 2025. The programme supports creators who want to use audio for storytelling, civic engagement, and social impact. Applications are open from 29 April to 23 May 2025, or until 150 submissions are received.
Whether you're an emerging podcast creator, a filmmaker exploring audio, or just curious about the training — this session is for you.
In this webinar, we’ll cover:
Audiovisual professionals and emerging creators from South Africa, Lesotho, or Malawi who are passionate about using audio for storytelling, advocacy, or education, and are eager to develop their podcasting skills with a focus on inclusion, community impact, and creative growth.
