Students would like to see greater and more varied use of electronic media in the classroom, because in their opinion they make lessons more interesting and contribute to a better understanding of the teaching content. Many teachers also see the advantages of digital media: they improve students' motivation and concentration, content and contexts can be better presented, and they speed up learning overall. However, according to students, digital media don't really play a role in current lessons including the German as a Foreign language classroom. This applies to music, films and the internet.
