On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Goethe-Institut Mexico presented the exhibition Berlin Wonderland from November 2019 to February 2020, which focuses primarily on Berlin from 1990 to 1996.
The interactive didactic material can also be used independently of the exhibition. It highlights historical events in Germany between 1945 and 1989, the Wende years 1989 and 1990, and the first half of the 1990s. With the help of the material, students deepen their knowledge and gain access to information that relates both to the exhibition and to other multimedia sources. The didactic material is not only suitable for use in German as a foreign language classes, but also for German lessons in general.
