In the context of the theme of equal opportunities in 2022, a special set of activities in cooperation with the Competence Center Technology-Diversity-Equal Opportunities e. V. (kompetenzz) from Germany has been made available online as well. With this set of methods from the Initiative Klischeefrei, the festival seeks to support recognizing gender stereotypes and dynamics that limit young people in their career and study choices and to reflect on them together with students. The goal is to show young people the entire range of career perspectives and encourage them to follow their individual strengths and interests.
The methods were developed by the service centre of the Klischeefrei initiative. The translations were funded by the Goethe-Institut. The service centre of the Klischeefrei initiative comprises an office based at a not-for-profit registered association called the Competence Centre Technology-Diversity-Equal
Opportunities e. V. and an editorial department located at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). The service centre receives its funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ).
