Goethe Lounge: Ensemble Nobiles

Das Ensemble Nobiles ist ein international renommiertes Vokalensemble aus Leipzig. Die fünf Mitglieder lernten sich während ihrer neunjährigen Ausbildung im berühmten Leipziger Thomanerchor kennen. 2006 beschlossen sie, ihr eigenes Ensemble zu gründen.

Seitdem hat sich das Ensemble Nobiles in der internationalen A-cappella-Szene einen Namen gemacht, zahlreiche Preise und Chorwettbewerbe gewonnen, Alben aufgenommen und weltweit konzertiert.

Neben Auftritten bei deutschen Festivals wie dem renommierten Bachfest Leipzig führten Tourneen das Ensemble in die USA, nach Australien, Neuseeland, Singapur, in die Schweiz, nach Frankreich, Italien, Norwegen, Slowenien, Spanien und in die Niederlande.

Ihr Repertoire reicht von mittelalterlichen Gesängen bis zu zeitgenössischen Kompositionen.

Einen besonderen Schwerpunkt bilden Werke der deutschen Romantik sowie ein umfangreiches Repertoire an Kirchenmusik.
