Language Assistants
Language assistance programs give future teachers the chance to strengthen their language skills while gaining valuable classroom experience in multilingual settings. Through close interaction with learners, participants develop intercultural awareness, teaching confidence, and practical pedagogical skills. These experiences prepare aspiring teachers to support linguistic diversity and succeed in inclusive, modern classrooms.

Language Assistant Program in Australia
Thanks to long-standing cooperation with education departments across Australia, student teachers from Germany have the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience in three Australian states.
In Western Australia and Victoria, the Pädagogischer Austauschdienst (PAD) places participants in schools that offer German as a subject. As of this year Language Assistants can also be placed in South Australia.
