The 2019 NSW/ACT German Teachers Conference
Blick in die Zukunft
In association with the Association of Independent Schools of NSW and the Department of Education NSW this professional learning event is intended for both Primary and Secondary teachers of German. Workshops will focus on programming the new German syllabus, task design in Stage 6 and discussion around the new HSC Extension (Literature ‘Tschick’) prescriptions. The Goethe Institut will provide an overview of the support available to teachers and students, as well as showcasing new programs and events for 2019.
Standards:
2.1.2 Apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies of the teaching area to develop engaging teaching activities
2.3.2 Design and implement learning and teaching programs using knowledge of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements.
6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities
