Screening German films for children and teens has been an integral part of our cultural student programs for many years. We are thrilled to embark on the next big adventure, Kino for Kids. Girls’ Day - the biggest career orientation project for girls in Germany - is coming to Australia on 16 June 2021. The aim of this campaign is to expand the range of career choices for women and to promote diversity in the workplace. Girls from years 7 and 8 have the opportunity to visit companies and universities, and accompany women in STEM careers.
The University of Melbourne opens its doors to local kids. Primary school students, teachers and parents are invited to experience an event packed with science. For one day, kids will step into the shoes of university students, taking part in workshops and lectures and conducting fun experiments with real researchers. We offer HSC preparation courses (beginners and continuers) for high school students. These courses are suitable for Year 11 and Year 12 students who wish to enrich their knowledge of German in their school holidays. The content is based on themes and topics relevant to the NSW curriculum. Additionally, there is an Intensive Grammar Course for level A2 (Yrs. 10-12).
