The roots of Leipzig’s Gewandhaus Orchestra can be traced back as far as 1479, making it one of the world’s oldest and most distinguished orchestras. This concert tour is a unique opportunity to hear eight of its members in intimate chamber music settings in Australia. Curated by violist and member of the orchestra, Tahlia Petrosian, the group will perform a carefully selected program, contextualised by talks and workshops in Australia.
