Laura Prado ist seit 2009 Deutschlehrerin am Goethe-Institut São Paulo, wo sie auch als Begleitlehrerin im Rahmen des Grünen Diploms und Fortbildnerin tätig ist. Zurzeit gehört sie auch als Vize-Präsidentin zum Vorstand der Associação Paulista de Professores de Alemão (APPA).
