My involvement as a member of the Queer Community is to continue activism for the rights of the LGBTIQ community in Mexico by cultural means.

Alberto Ríos de la Rosa has been working as a freelance curator since completing his masters degree in art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. He curated exhibitions at Fundación Casa Wabi (2014-2018), where he participated in solo exhibitions by Daniel Buren, Michel François, Harold Ancart, Jannis Kounellis, and Ugo Rondinone, developing the residency program in Oaxaca and Tokyo, and promoting emerging Mexican artists through his exhibition platform in Santa Maria la Ribera. Previously, he was part of the curatorial teams of the Museo Tamayo in Mexico, the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. In addition, he works as an editor for CIAC A.C. and other magazines.
