Two women from very different backgrounds meet in a small town in eastern Germany: Ursula, a waitress longing for connection and meaning, and Neda, an Iranian video artist searching for traces of her past. Ursula feels drawn to a female musician from the big city, while Neda believes she recognizes an old friend from Tehran in a street sweeper.
