You would like to acquire a certification of your language skills?
At the Goethe-Institut Ottawa, we regularly offer exams at all levels.
Whether you want to start studying or a vocational training, or wish to apply for a new job, language skills are one of the most important qualifications a person can have.
You have invested time and money in learning the German language, we encourage you to get your knowledge certified.

You can download the registration form for the exam here: To take an exam at the Goethe-Institut Ottawa, you do not necessarily have to be enrolled in one of our courses. You can either sign up for a group appointment with given dates or arrange a one-on-one appointment for a 50% surcharge.
The exams offered by the Goethe-Institut are an integral part of our course system.The finishing courses of each course level (A1.3, A2.3, B1.4, B2.3, C1.4 and C2.4) prepare the student for the corresponding exam. These take place during the last week of each semester. The exam fees are not included in the price of the course and are payable when you register for the exam.
As of February 1 2022 we will be offering again our Goethe-Zertifikat exams upon request.
