On the upcoming „Global Climate Strike Day“ on September 27, we will present Métamorphose, a beautiful film by Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper, produced by the National Film Board of Canada. It takes the pulse of our earth and reflects a period of profound change: the loss of one world and the birth of another. Unleashing a flood of dazzling images, this film bridges the gap between the present and the future in order to offer humanity and the world a new, bold vision.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with writers who are concerned about the issue of climate change. This event is an opportunity to demonstrate the urgency to act and to show how literary people can get involved.

Animation: Sylvain Dodier
Invited authors: Suzanne Aubry, Marie-Louise Guay, Pascale Petit (France) and Cécile Wajsbrot (France/Germany).

In collaboration with the National Film Board (NFB) and in co-distribution with Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec.
