Jakob is a dedicated priest with a close-knit group of friends. But when he begins to suspect his friend Dominik, also a priest, has been sexually abusing young boys he is faced with a crisis of conscience. His loyalty to the church is put to the test when he feels it is putting its reputation above the concerns of the children, while enforcing silence through secrecy, intimidation and the threat of exclusion.
