In line with the objective of bringing the Turkish Cypriot community closer to the European Union (EU), since 2007, the EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community has provided to more than 2000 Turkish Cypriots with more than €38 million worth of scholarships to study and train in the European Union.
As of June 2022, the EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community is being implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
