Weeks of the German Language

The Weeks of the German Language are organized annually by the Embassies of Austria, Germany and Switzerland and the Goethe-Institut Cyprus.

This year the Weeks of the German Language will begin on 3rd November 2026 and conclude on 19th November 2026. During this time, a series of activities and events related to the German language and the culture of each country will take place in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos: film screenings, lectures, conferences, as well as a joint concert with bands from Germany, Austria and Cyprus.  

Through a vibrant programme of events, the initiative aims to foster dialogue, celebrate diversity, and inspire reflection.
