For the sixth consecutive year, the Goethe-Institut Cyprus presents its Sommerkino with a selection of films from Germany.

While previous editions of the Sommerkino were dedicated to directors and actresses, like Sandra Hüller (2024), Christian Petzold (2023), Andreas Dresen (2022), Maria Schrader (2021) and Caroline Link (2020), the selected films for the upcoming edition are each by a different director, yet belong to the same genre: Coming-of-Age — and all but one play in Berlin.

Join us for the ultimate summer nights in the city in the beautiful garden of the Goethe-Institut with relaxing lounge chairs, a big screen and the famous Ledra Palace Hotel as a backdrop, while each film and their protagonists take us on a different cinematic journey.
