German Online Training combines current topics, diverse learning content and a structured training programme on an interactive learning platform. In a practical, everyday context, you expand your vocabulary, deepen your grammar knowledge and further develop your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.

With more than 800 exercises per language level, created by our teaching experts, the training offers extensive opportunities to improve your German skills in a targeted way. A free placement test helps you choose the right level. Additional guidance on the learning platform makes it easier to get started and supports you throughout your independent learning journey.

Select the language level at which you would like to learn (A1, A2, B1, B2 or C1).
You can choose between German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian or Turkish as an additional language in which you can receive help.

Registration

When booking online, you must register with us. Please make a note of your Goethe ID (consisting of your email address and password).

The course is created

The course is created once you complete the booking process.
As soon as your course is activated (up to 24 hours after booking), you will receive a notification by email. You now have three month’s access to the learning platform.

Start of the course

At the top right of the screen you will find the tab "MEIN GOETHE.DE – SIGN IN". Enter the same e-mail address and password that you used when booking.

Under "My courses and exams" you will find your German Online Training.
