In the German Weekend Course you will have language lessons on twelve Saturdays. Classes consist of a maximum of 16 participants and are taught by one of our highly qualified Goethe teachers. 

Lessons lasting several hours every Saturday enable intensive learning and guarantee weekly progress. Learning content can be discussed and practiced in detail. 

The German Weekend Course is ideal for allowing you to combine your free time, work or studies with learning German. The Hamburg Goethe-Institut is located in the heart of the city, close to the Inner Alster Lake. Direct access to the U2 underground line and the nearby Jungfernstieg station, reachable on foot and served by numerous S- and U-Bahn lines, offer excellent connections in all directions.

The number of lessons that are usually required to reach a certain level and take the corresponding Goethe certificate are based on experience.
