How to find your vocational training place in Germany!

Are you interested in vocational training in Germany? But you don't know where to start your search? Our experts will explain where you can look for vacancies and what your application should look like. What is the best way to apply from abroad? And what do you need to bear in mind during a job interview?

We also introduce you to the visa for finding a vocational training place. What advantages and disadvantages does it have compared to searching from your home country? You can also ask questions.

Who is the course aimed at? 

The project is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and is aimed at third-country nationals in Germany and about to enter Germany. Students are not part of the target group.
 
You can register if you are a third-country national and if you have one of these residence permits:
  • Residence permit to carry out vocational training, search for a training place, recognition of foreign professional qualifications, work, job search, spouse or family reunification
  • EU Blue Card 
  • Opportunity card visa (Section 20a AufenthG) or Visa to look for a training place (Section 17 (1) AufenthG)
  • Residence permit in accordance with Section 24 (1) AufenthG
Persons who are still in their country of origin and/or do not yet have one of the above residence permits can identify themselves with their national ID card or passport.
