Customer info concerning the corona-virus

The institute's space is closed to customers until May 13th 2020. Our language courses will be continued digitally, and we also try to offer digital alternatives within our programme. The lending period of all books is automatically extended until the 27th of April. For more information, please click.

Library: The library has a self-loan machine for borrowing and returning books during our opening hours. Personal guidance on Thursdays from 2 to 6 pm.

Language courses: Registration via e-mail is possible at any time. Personal guidance Mon–Thu from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Goethe-Institut is easy to reach

Goethe-Institut is located near the Kamppi shopping center at Salomonkatu. Trains and buses (including from the airport) bring you to the central railway station in the Helsinki city center, only a few minutes’ walk away from us. If you are traveling by tram, get off at the Lasipalatsi stop. Long-distance buses and the metro bring you to Kamppi and right to our doorstep.

Bicycle racks are available directly opposite Goethe-Institut next to the Kamppi shopping center.
