Two starkly different cultural worlds, Berlin and Beijing, collide in this reflection on identity. Beijing born director Viv Li lands in post pandemic Berlin and immerses herself in the city's queer scene, an encounter that shakes her to the core and clashes with the traditional family values instilled back home, exposing how elusive self identity can be amid East West differences in a globalised world. This semi autobiographical documentary constantly asks "who am I", intercutting Berlin's dazzling nightlife, family dinners in Beijing and drunken heart to heart talks in New York, piecing together her own path through humour.
