What’s it like to design a game where the play, the story and the visual are one and the same thing? The blackhorse indie game of the year Word Game impressed the Chinese speaking game world splendidly, winning multiple awards and players’ hearts. Even before the game was officially launched, a short free demo already demonstrated its super original and unique design philosophy – to make the utmost Chinese characters, verse and grammars to create a beautiful meta-game world, and empower players to play Wo (Chinese I) and walk through the mind-twisting journey.
Game Kitchen is thrilled to have Team9, the boutique dev studio behind this game gem. They will share with us the behind-game stories, the design journey and their fascination around narrative games.
