Starting a career in Germany does not require academic qualifications only. LinkedIn plays an important role in professional visibility, networking and recruitment processes in the German job market. Many job seekers still wonder how recruiters evaluate LinkedIn profiles and how professional experience should be presented in a relevant way for the German job market.

In this session, the KSM team will guide participants through the basic use of LinkedIn for career development in Germany. The discussion will focus on profile structure, professional positioning and recruiter perspectives. The session will be held offline and hybrid on Sunday, 18 January 2026 in Cihapit, Bandung from 15.00 to 18.00. Seats are limited. Participants are required to have an active LinkedIn account and include the link to their LinkedIn profile during registration. This offline seminar is part of the KSM (Kompetenzzentrum Südostasien für berufliche Migration nach Deutschland) program by Goethe-Institut Bandung together with GIZ and Move-ID, supporting preparation for migration, living and working in Germany.
