The Goethe-Institut invites you to a two-day event on A Question of Funding that will give artists and creatives information on available local support for their projects as well as tips on how to improve their funding applications.

On Wednesday, 29th May 3pm – 5pm, we will have presentations by some of the main cultural institutions on what support they offer and the main things they look for.

The presentations will be as follows:
  • 3:00 -3:30 Intro + Ford Foundation ( Regional Head, Jessic Horn)
  • 3:30 -3.50 Alliance Francaise ( Head of Culture, Harsita Waters)
  • 3.50 -4:10 British Council (Arts Manager, Joyce Nzovu & Cultural Heritage Manager, Maureen Anzaye )
  • 4.10 -4:30 TICAH ( Arts Programme managers Suzanne Mieko & Eric Manya)
  • 4:30 - 4:50 African Arts Trust ( Administrator, Lynnet Ngigi)
  • 4:50 - 5:10 HEVA ( Partnerships Lead, Jesse Kangethe)
  • 5:10 - 5.30 Goethe-Institut ( Programmes officer, Sheila Akwany)
  • 5: 30- 5:45 EUNIC ( EUNIC Representative)

On Thursday, 30th May 3pm – 5pm, We will have a feedback session on how to improve your applications. This will be led by one person from the Goethe-Institut programmes department.
