Fresh off playing with multi award winning South African group The Soil at J’s Club in Nairobi, the dynamic and eclectic duo ‘
boxofbeatske’ now set their eyes towards releasing their debut full length album titled „Frequency“ in 2019.
After the release of the well-received ‘box of beats‘ EP 2016, the band has been spending time at ADA Creative studios carefully constructing their new LP. This concert offers a glimpse into the creative process behind the music as well as a preview of the album.
„Frequency“is a voicing of love, joy, fears and insecurities through a collection of songs and lyrics written and composed by Checkmate Mido and Kevin Munyi.
