Continuing with our successful event series in 2019,
Artistic Encounters comes back with an exciting programme this year. It brings together the work of two different artists in one space and at the same time. The artists that will be part of
Artistic Encounters will bring their individual art to the stage while speaking to that of the artist they are working with to create new work. They will also bring their different audiences together and show that art can be better when it crosses genres. Among the participating artists will be painters, poets, musicians, some writers and performers. The great performance by musician Tomeletso Sereetsi from Botswana and poet Ngwatilo Mawiyoo from Kenya in June will be followed by Aghan Odero from Kenya and a musician from Germany. The session will be moderated by the curator of the series, James Murua.
