Life and resistance in the Third Reich

Commemorating the 75th anniversary of Anne Frank's Death, who was killed by the Nazis in the concentration camp Bergen-Belsen, the Goethe Institut Sri Lanka shows various movies about the holocaust. The movies „The Five Last Days“ and „Sophie Scholl – The final days“ deal with the final days of Sophie Scholl, a german resistance fighter in Nazi Germany. The movie „Jakob the Liar“ is about the story of Jakob Heym, a victim in a jewish ghetto in Poland.
