Professional development in Malaysia

Teachers are not born, they are made goes the famous saying. Goethe-Institut Malaysia offers regularly in co-operation with the local education authorities and the Malaysian German Teacher’s Association training and professional learning seminars for teachers in Malaysia.

These trainings are designed to provide teachers with fresh ideas and practical advice for their lessons. Topics covered include:

- teaching methods
- use of electronic media in language teaching
- socio-cultural information about Germany
- language refreshers

Teachers from partner schools can also apply for scholarships to training and language courses in Germany.
