Events and Competitions

Activating pupils is one of the most important – and sometimes most difficult – challenges any teacher faces. The Goethe-Institut Neuseeland has therefore put together a series of cultural events and competitions designed to help you motivate your students and to make learning German more fun.

Das Kiwi-Handball-Projekt

Handball is a popular and reputable Olympic sport that is still relatively unknown in New Zealand. The Kiwi-Handball- project is about 'learning by doing'. Learning a language by doing activities. It involves reading and writing, learning to plan and to communicate instructions.
