Seminar series|Intercultural Orientation Sessions with Mrs. Grace Lugert-Jose
For: Spouses and registered partners, parents and minor, unmarried children who would like to migrate to Germany to join their family members living in Germany.
This online seminar aims to give an orientation on what to expect in the first period of time when coming to Germany for family reunification. The most relevant cultural orientations will be presented with practical examples. You will also learn about their impact on your daily life in terms of communication and interaction with citizens or local authorities in Germany. Understanding why certain things are said and done in a different manner than to what you may be used to, can help make the adjustments to the new life in Germany much easier.
About the Speaker
Grace Lugert-Jose is a business psychologist and a native Filipina, born in Los Baños, Laguna. She came to Germany with her mother over 25 years ago and knows the challenges that people from other cultures may be confronted with when coming to Germany. As a Certified Intercultural Trainer and Consultant, she is specialized in accompanying German healthcare institutions in managing a successful and sustainable integration in international teams. She conducts training for the local staff as well as for international professionals in Germany. She offers her training and workshop in German, English and Tagalog (Filipino).
