The annual German Film Festival returns to Manila! From October 16 to 19, 2025, KinoFest once again transforms the Shangri-La Plaza Red Carpet Cinemas into a hub for bold stories, fresh perspectives, and unforgettable film experiences, all for free.
This year’s edition brings together 8 contemporary German films and 5 Filipino films, offering audiences a rich dialogue between two vibrant cinema cultures. The program highlights films that examine memory, reimagining, and the confrontation of perspectives, spanning diverse genres and styles. Central themes of family, belonging, and care run through the selections, inviting viewers to reflect on personal ties, collective histories, and the many ways cinema helps us connect with one another.

Tickets: Admission is free. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be claimed at the KinoFest booth near Cinema 3 starting one (1) hour before each screening.
